Srinagar, Jul 14: Al Noor Yateem Trust on Friday organized a mass marriage ceremony for 12 orphan girls from various parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the chairman of the Trust, Shabir Ahmad, highlighted the importance of unity and compassion in carrying out such noble endeavours.

“Today, at Al Noor, we organized a mass marriage ceremony for 12 orphan girls hailing from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir. These girls have been under our care and education for a considerable period of time. Each girl in attendance has her legal guardian present here,” Shabir said.

Following the success of today’s marriage function, we are planning to arrange a mass marriage ceremony for hundred girls, In Sha Allah (God willing), he said, adding, “We aim to accomplish this and kindly request everyone interested to visit us here in Bemina and register with us.”

“The Al Noor Yateem Trust has been operational since 2012, thanks to the generous contributions from the people,” the chairman said. “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to them for supporting this crucial work.”—(KNO)
