Prioritize the needs of the public and ensure timely action on all pending matters: MLA Devsar to officers

Holds public darbar at Kolinard Lammer; says NC-led govt is committed to ensure voices of the people are heard and all genuine issues are resolved promptly

Devsar (Kulgam) Feb 18: In an effort to engage directly with the public and address their concerns, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Devsar, Peerzada Feroze Ahmad Shah presided over a Public Darbar in upper reaches of Kolinard Lammer in Devsar constituency.

The event provided a platform for local residents to voice their grievances and seek resolutions to pressing issues affecting their daily lives.

Several officers and officials from line departments were present at the Public Darbar, besides local delegations and individuals also attended the Darbar.

The residents of the area including ST community people raised several key issues, including the lack of transport services, health facilities issues, PMAY, insufficient electricity and inadequate water facilities and others things in the area.

MLA assured the public that every effort would be made to address these concerns and improve the living conditions of the people of the area.

Speaking to reporters on the sideline of the program, MLA said that the primary objective of the Public Darbar was to assess the availability of essential services, evaluate ongoing development works, and address the concerns of the public.

“NC Government is committed to ensuring the voices of the people are heard and all genuine issues are resolved promptly” he said.

On being asked about the upcoming budget, he said “It would be youth and people-friendly, addressing all key sectors of development. “We have kept all sectors in mind while framing the budget. It would benefit the common people”.

He urged officers to prioritize the needs of the public and ensure timely action on all pending matters.
