Kulgam, March 13: The Body of nomad man who was among three nomads missing since last one month was recovered from a veshow nallah Mah area of south kashmiri’s Kulgam district on Thursday morning, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Riyaz Ahmad Bajad (25) from Chandian Pajan of Devsar. The deceased was among three nomads who had been missing since Feb 13, 2025, prompting their families to file a missing report at Qazigund Police Station.
Locals found the body on today morning near veshow nallah at Mah in Kulgam and immediately called the police. The body was then shifted to a hospital in for further investigation and legal formalities.
The police have initiated an inquiry to determine the cause of death.
Notably, Three nomadic labourers, including two brothers, had been missing from the Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district for the past one month.
