
Anantnag, Aug 30: A grand and emotionally charged Superannuation Function was today organised at the prestigious Bijbehara Auditorium in honour of Muhammad Abass Dar, the distinguished District Activity Incharge, Anantnag.
The event witnessed an overwhelming gathering of Family Members, departmental colleagues, staff members from District Anantnag, and prominent guests from across the Department of Youth Services & Sports.
The function was marked by meticulous arrangements, ensuring a graceful and memorable farewell befitting the stature of Muhammad Abass Dar. Various speakers took to the podium, each lauding his exemplary services, recalling cherished memories, and highlighting the professional bonding they shared with him during his illustrious career. Their words reflected deep admiration for his patience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the department.
Muhammad Abass Dar who was appointed in the District Cadre Anantnag, has served with distinction across various important stations of the department, including Srinagar District, Joint Directorate Office Kashmir, the world-famous ski resort of Gulmarg, and several schools. His tenure as District Activity Incharge Anantnag further consolidated his reputation as a disciplined, sincere, and dependable officer.
Notably, he also played a crucial role at the 68th National School Games, where he was appointed as Incharge of the Control Room, besides serving as a member of the Control Room in almost all National School Games during his professional journey. His vast contributions at the state and national level added immense value to the department and set an inspiring benchmark for others to follow.
The entire event turned emotional as colleagues and friends bid farewell to a person who, with humility and patience, stood as a pillar of strength for the department throughout his career. His departure leaves behind not only an exemplary professional legacy but also an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his colleagues.
