Kulgam, July 11: Illegal constructions unabated at Kilam and Akhran area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, acting promptly upon a specific information regarding the illegal constructions.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Athar Amir khan, a team of revenue Department led by Tehsildar Devsar Raqib Ahmad Ganie along with Naib Tehsildar Kilam, Irshad hussain, and police carried out a demolition drive in different areas in Devsar tehsil and demolished various structures which were raised illegally.
Tehsildar Devsar said that nobody is allowed to raise any structure without permission from the competent authority. These violators were informed time to time not to raise structures illegally and now officials were being forced to act tough.
“We demolished all these structures in area and in other parts, such structures will be dismantled as well. People are requested to refrain from such practices otherwise be ready for the loss,” he said.
