Mubeen Fatima, a resident of Upper Thathar, Bantalab, has proven that there is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise. Despite facing numerous challenges, including a divorce and the birth of a child, Mubeen was able to qualify for the prestigious Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) with a rank of 154. The results of the examination were announced on Friday by the JKPSC.
In an interview with Financial Explorer, Mubeen shared her journey of perseverance and determination. She graduated from G.G.M Science College in 2017 and got married while in her fourth semester of B.Sc. However, she did not let her marriage and the birth of her daughter in 2018 deter her from pursuing her dreams. She took admission for post-graduation in Botany at Jammu University and completed her studies in 2020.
Unfortunately, her husband divorced her in 2019, but Mubeen had the support of her family and pushed forward to achieve her dream of qualifying for JKAS. Her story serves as an inspiration to many young women who are told that their dreams and aspirations must be put on hold after marriage or having children. Mubeen has shown that with determination and hard work, anything is possible.
