Kulgam, Sep 2: Authorities in Kulgam carried out a rescue operation and rescued three nomadic families along with their livestock who were stuck on the bank of river Veshow here in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
An official told that they have received information that some nomads along with their livestock were stuck on the bank of river Veshow due to abrupt increase in water level follow continuous rainfall.
He said acting swiftly, revenue team of Tehsil office Pahloo launched a rescue operation in the said area. During the rescue operation, three nomadic families and their essential commodities were shifted to High School Chambgund.
Locals have lauded the efforts and swift action of Tehsil office Pahloo for rescue and saving precious lives.
