Kulgam, May 24: Polling teams have safely reached designated polling stations across Kulgam district scheduled to go for polling tomorrow as the district forms part of Anantnag Rajouri parliamentary constituency.
The teams of officials were dispatched from different locations here under the supervision of District Election Officer (DEO), Athar Amir Khan.
“Polling parties with EVMs and necessary materials, accompanied by security personnel have reached their destinations safely, in the district,” the DEO said.
He urged upon the people to come out in large numbers to vote tomorrow on May 25th, the day of polling in the district. He emphasized the importance of voter participation in the democratic process and encouraged attendees to act as ambassadors for the cause, spreading the message of civic duty and participation.
