Kulgam, March 1: Police in Kulgam today seized the property of a drug peddler under the NDPS Act.
According to police statement, the property measuring 916.75sq ft at Hergam Mohalla Nipora Mirbazar attached under section 68-F (2) of NDPS Act 1985.
The property attached, police said, belongs to a notorious drug peddler Nisar Ahmad Khanday son of Bashir Ahmad Khanday resident of Nipora, Qazigund
The property was flagged as illegally acquired during the investigation/enquiry conducted by Kulgam Police.
“The property was prima facie acquired from the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances by the owner,” said the police.
