Kulgam, July 22: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Devsar Constituency Peerzada Feroze Ahmad Shah on Tuesday holds public darbar at Khargund area of Devsar in Kulgam district.
Public darbar witnessed participation of a large number of people from the area, who flagged-off their issues, grievances and demands with the chair.
MLA attentively listened to the grievances and assured the public of swift action. He directed the concerned departments to resolve the issues in a time-bound manner, emphasizing the government’s commitment to the region’s overall development.
Several AIP, PDP workers joined National Conference during the program, new entrants were welcomed by MLA.
Officers from line departments were present on the occasion.
Asked about statehood restoration, he said “We’re not asking for something that is not our due. Statehood is the right, it was promised to the people, adding we are not begging; we are demanding what is rightfully ours, and it’s right time to restore it,”
