This Picture Of A Mitti Ka Chulha At A Rural House Will Remind You Of The Good Old Days

In our fast-paced world, the use of gas stoves, induction, and microwave for cooking and baking has become a part of existence. But a few decades ago, it was all about homemade clay chulha.

As technology made rapid advancements, the humble chulha got replaced by a fancy and one-touch cooking range. However, chulha still finds its rightful place in some rural households and it just feels right.

A Twitter page that goes by the name Mahakavi Dinkar posted an image of a ‘mitti ka chulha’. Needless to say, it has sent people down memory lane and it’s all nostalgia.

जिस गाँव में हमने जन्म लिया है उसके आगे लन्दन और मास्को फीके हो जाते हैं!❤️ #दिनकर pic.twitter.com/b6qX2n6azM

The photo features a mitti ka chulha inside a rural house. One can also see a small wooden stool beside it and a wok placed on the chulha. The picture will remind you of happier and simpler times.

“London and Moscow are nothing in front of the village I was born in,” reads the caption of the post.

The chulha was once an integral part of households. But the new-age technology has seen the traditional cooking method replaced by modern means.

While chulha might only exist in some rural households, it continues to weave the same magic as it used to in its glory days, so to say.
