Khudwani (Kulgam) Sept 6: Residents of Khudwani strongly criticized Chief Minister Omar Abdullah during his recent visit to the area, stating that despite waiting since morning to put forth their grievances, the CM did not listen to their concerns. stating “We elected him with hope, but if he doesn’t listen to us, then whom should we approach?” the residents questioned in anguish.

“We waited here since morning so that we will put forth our issues before CM, but he didn’t listen to their concerns, we elected him and whom we will approach to get our issue addressed if he doesn’t listen our concerns”, a local resident of Khudwani told.

Reacting to the incident, Opposition parties expressed condolence and solidarity with the people of Khudwani. They said, “This is very unfortunate. People had high hopes from the present government, which was given a full majority by the public. It is disappointing that the Chief Minister himself chose not to listen to the genuine issues of the residents. The government should realize that people’s trust and aspirations should never be ignored.”
