Kulgam, Nov 1: Three residential houses and a cowshed were gutted in an overnight blaze in Daderkoot area of South Kashmiri’s Kulgam district on Friday.
Locals said that the fire broke out from one of the house at around 2:30AM and soon engulfed a nearby house including a cowshed.
In the incident, they said all four structures were completely damaged, however, no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, an official said that the cause of fire was being ascertained.
Meanwhile, locals urged the government to provide compensation to the affected families.
“In this harsh winter, the government should compensate the families and relocate them to safer places,” they said.
