Kulgam, Dec 23: Member of Parliament (MP), Anantnag Rajouri parliamentary constituency Mian Altaf Larvi on Monday inaugurated a newly upgradation of TO1 Chawalgam to DB Shopian via Nillow road under PMGSY.
He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Athar Amir Khan, Chief Engineer PMGSY, Executive Engineer PMGSY, AEE PMGSY and others were present on the inauguration ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, the MP Larvi appreciated the PMGSY Department for completing the project within the stipulated time frame. He highlighted the importance of creation of road infrastructure for improving mobility.
An official from PMGSY told that the 7.6 kms of TO1 Chawalgam to DB Shopian via Nillow road under PMGSY was executed by unique construction company.
Locals of the area who had all the praise for the PMGSY led by its AEE Manzoor Ahmad for speedy completion of project in a record time.
