Kulgam, May 1: Three Naib Tehsildar’ posts are lying vacant in Devsar Tehsil—‘taking a toll on functioning of revenue collection, maintaining land records and administrative tasks’.
Credible sources said that three Naib Tehsildar posts are vacant for past couple of months including NT Kilam, Chowgam and Brinal Lammer that impacted daily operations in revenue offices, causing significant inconvenience to the general public.
“This shortage of officers has greatly hampered the functioning of the department, leading to unnecessary delays in the delivery of essential services”, Locals said.
Tehsildar Devsar Raqib Ahmad Ganie, when contacted told that he had already taken up the matter with higher ups for fulfilling these posts at earliest.
