Qazigund, Jan 19: Continuing their commitment to community well-being, the 46th Battalion CRPF conducted another successful free medical camp this time at 46BN HQ Sadura area of Anantnag.
The camp, inaugurated by Syamal Bhowmik, Commandant (CCD) CRPF 46 battalian Sadura, in presence of R N Singh Deputy Commandant 46Bn CRPF and other officers of the unit.
The camp was aimed to provide essential medical check-ups and distribute medicines to the local populace, especially the elderly.
The medical team comprised of three doctors including two from PHC Qazigund nominated by BMO Qazigund and one from from CRPF. They offered free consultations and treatments to the villagers who ttended the camp
A total of 250 villagers from Sadura and adjoining areas benefited from the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Syamal Bhowmik, Commandant (CCD) CRPF 46 battalian said that “CRPF remains committed to enhancing community health and looks forward to continued support from local partners in these endeavors”,
He added that they will continue to conduct such Civic Action Programs for the benefit of the local public in future also.
“This camp marks the fifth medical camp organized by unit from last one week at different spots like Akhran, Mirbazar, Vessu, KP Colony Vessu and followed at Sadura”, he said.
He further added that “Around 1250 patients were provided free medical checkups, consultations, and free medicines during these camps organised by the Unit from last one week”,
Locals expressed their gratitude to the CRPF for their efforts in extending healthcare services to those in need.
