Qazigund, Jan 16: Under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) of CRPF, a free medical camp was organised by 46Bn CRPF at Vessu area of Qazigund on Monday. This camp marks the third medical camp organized by the 46Bn of CRPF.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Syamal Bhowmik, Commandant (CCD) CRPF 46 battalian Sadura, in the presence of R N Singh Deputy Cammandant 46Bn CRPF, SHO Qazigund Muzamil Ahmad, PRI’s and other dignitaries of the civil society were present on the occasion.
The programme included free medical checkups and the distribution of essential medicines for illness. Around 300 people from village Vessu and it’s adjoining villages including Damjan, Sesman, Checki Rajwali, Chandian Pajan, Mondhole of benefited from free medical consultation and treatment.
The local residents of Vessu and it’s adjoining villages who received medical benefits highly appreciated the event organized by 46Bn CRPF
“We urges the CRPF to organize such camps in the future also so that poor people would get the benefits” said locals.
