Kulgam, Sep 28: In a proactive effort to build trust and cooperation between the police and the public, Kulgam Police led by DySP SOG Mirbazar Naseem Akram along with his team, under the supervision of ASP Highway following the directions from SSP Kulgam organized a public outreach meeting in the far-flung areas of Qazigund including Lamar, Brinal, Nagras, Qazigund, and its adjoining villages.
The meeting provided a platform for residents to voice their concerns and engage in a constructive dialogue with the police.
During the interaction, participants highlighted pressing issues such as drug addiction, lack of road connectivity, and developmental challenges. DySP Akram assured the public that their genuine grievances would be taken up with the concerned authorities for redressal.
He emphasized the police’s commitment to ensuring peace and security in the region and sought active cooperation from the public in combating drug menace and maintaining law and order.
The local populace appreciated the police initiative and expressed their willingness to collaborate with the authorities in future endeavors.
