Anantnag, Dec 7: Senior Leader and National Conference District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, today slammed PDP Leadership for false rehortic and misinformation.

Strongly countering the remarks made by Dr Mehboob Beg at Town Hall Anantnag, Imran Shah reminded Dr Beg of his past speeches and his decision to quit the National Conference after telling people that only Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed could stop the BJP, yet later agreeing to form a coalition government with the BJP.

Imran Shah said it is on record that Dr Mehboob Beg himself admitted that he was consulted by the PDP leadership during the government formation, and that it was Dr. Beg who actually coined the term ‘bringing together the North and South Poles’ Shah added that this political coalition between the “North and South Poles” ultimately pushed Kashmir into the current era, enabling the BJP to revoke the special status and disempower democratic institutions.

He made these remarks while speaking at an event in Anzwallah village of the Anantnag Central Assembly Constituency.
Shah also criticized Dr Mehboob Beg for bringing workers from different constituencies to Town Hall Anantnag, saying that such actions reflect his “political failure.”

On the occasion, he highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the government had involved youth in sports activities, and he stressed the need for more such initiatives to keep young people away from drugs and violence.

He also congratulated Anzwallah Reds for winning the 3rd edition of the local tournament.
