Kulgam, Aug 22: Awami Itihad Party fields it’s candidate Dr. Suhail Ahmad Bhat from Devsar assembly constituency on Thursday.
Bhat appeared in the list of nine candidates released by Awami Itihad Party (AIP) by today afternoon.
Among the other candidates, the party has fielded, Abdula Qayoom Mir from Pampore, Dr. Harbaksh Singh from Tral, Sofi Iqbal from Pulwama constituency, Molvi Fayaz Wagay from Zainapora, Shopian.
Mohammad Arif Dar from DH Pora, Kulgam, Hilal Ahmad Malik from Dooru constituency, Aqib Mushtaq from Anantnag West and Tawseef Nisar will compete in Anantnag 144.
Notably, The Elections scheduled to be held in three phases starting from Sept 18 to October 1, this will be the first assembly election in J&K, since 2014 follow the abrogation of Article 370.
