Qazigund (Kulgam) April 22: Kulgam Police distributes food packets amongst stranded drivers, passengers who have been stuck due to blockade of Jammu Srinagar national highway since last three days.
An official told that on the directions of SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal, ASP NH Mumtaz Bhatti, SDPO Qazigund Mansoor Ayaz along with SHO Qazigund Masood Ul Hassan distributes food pockets among stranded drivers, passengers in Qazigund.
The community response was overwhelmingly positive, with passengers expressing deep gratitude to Kulgam Police for the timely and humane intervention.
“We are grateful for Kulgam police for providing us food pockets amid road closure since last three days”, a driver said.
