Kulgam, Jan 8: Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), on Monday assumed the office as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam following an order issued by GAD in this regard.
The 2016 batch IAS officer has also served as Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), and CEO, Srinagar Smart City project.
While taking over as Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, a warm welcome was offered to Athar Aamir Khan by the former DC and other senior district officers.
After taking over as Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Khan chaired an introductory meeting with district officers at Mini-secretrait Kulgam for reviewing profiles of the district.
