Kulgam: Bharti Janta Party (BJP) organized workers convention at Kadder, Kulgam on Wednesday, The convention was organized by BJP General Secy Kulgam Mehbooba Akhter. The convention was attended by Sangathan Mantri South kashmir Incharge Veer Saraf, District President BJP Kulgam, State Gen secy OBC, Sajad Kumar, District President OBC, Sheraz Kumar, Constituency President Javid Ahmad and other workers.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP South kashmir Incharge Veer Saraf said that the Modi Government has done unprecedented development in the nation and especially Jammu & Kashmir. adding that BJP under PM Modi has opened the door of opportunities for the people. He said that in the case of Jammu & Kashmir, every community has got justice under the Modi Government and enjoying the benefits of development.
The senior BJP leader further said that Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a new era of development after the abrogation of 370 as it had become a tool at the hands of some political parties to loot, plunder and play with the sentiments of people. He said that the parties like NC, Congress, and PDP are fighting for their political survival by misleading the people because they have understood that they cannot fool the people anymore on the name of religion and region.
He said that the people have seen the rule of these parties and made up their minds to reject these parties outrightly for mis-governance and promoting dynastic politics. He said that the door-to-door campaign initiated aims to connect with every citizen, understand their concerns, and ensure that their aspirations are heard and met through the BJP’s dedicated efforts.
“We are supporting those parties which are patriotic, working for betterment of Kashmir, strengthening peace and brotherhood and are eager to serve the society.” He said.
BJP General Secretary Kulgam, Mebooba Akhter said “this is the first time we have conducted such convention here in Kadder area, it aims to mobilise the workers for upcoming elections”,
“It is not important to field candidate on our own, but at times some decisions are made to achieve a larger goal,” she said when asked about BJP failure to field any candidate in Kashmir.
