DC Kulgam holds public outreach programmes at Devsar and Zangulpora

Meet people listened their issues for early redressal; Instructed officers to ensure prompt response in mitigation of public issues; Time bound & quality disposal of public grievances among top priorities, says DC Kulgam

Kulgam, Jan 20: To reach out to the people for early redressal of their grievances and issues, the District Administration Kulgam today organised public outreach programmes at Devsar and Zangulpora area of Kulgam district.

To take firsthand appraisal of issues of public importance, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan presided over the grievance redressal camp at Devser and Zangulpora.

The grievance redressal programme witnessed participation of people from Devsar, Sopat, Adigam, Kilam Zangulpora Phaloo and other areas who put forth various developmental and welfare demands including construction of flood protection bunds, shifting of utilities, and various other demands.

DDC member Devser Reyaz Amad bhat  also projected various developmental demands of their areas.

Officers and heads of departments responded to the queries and grievances of the people pertaining to their departments and intimated them about various welfare schemes and ongoing developmental projects.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public issues raised during the camp addressed some grievances of the immediate nature on the spot.

ADDC Showkat Ahmad Father, ADC, Vikar Ahmad Giri; ACR Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, ACD Mohd  Mohd Imran khan, and other district officers and officials were present on the occasion.
