Qazigund (Kulgam), Dec 9: In a major development in the Red Fort blast investigation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday carried out intense searches in Wanpora Qazigund, Kulgam district, as part of its ongoing probe into the November 10 Delhi explosion that claimed 15 lives.
Officials sources said that NIA teams, accompanied by Jammu & Kashmir Police, and CRPF brought two key arrested accused — Dr. Adeel Rather and Jasir Bilal Wani — to Qazigund for on-ground site verification. Both are linked to what investigators describe as a “white-collar” terror module.
The searches were launched based on disclosures made by the duo regarding alleged hideouts and operational spots in Qazigund, believed to have been used by the interstate terror network.
