Sheikh Younis, a young and talented photographer from Zahid Bagh, Pulwama who has already made a name for himself in the industry at a very young age. Despite facing challenges and limitations, Younis has persevered and worked hard to hone his skills and turn his passion for photography into a successful career.
It all started when Younis received his first mobile phone and discovered the power of capturing and sharing images. From then on, he was hooked on photography and began experimenting with different techniques and styles. Despite limited resources, Younis was determined to learn and improve, and he quickly gained a reputation for his eye-catching and emotive photographs.
While talking with The Kashmir Upfront he said that “I was tempted towards this professionalism when I was just seventh standard student. I used to take photos with my brother’s phone and as soon as my interest grew in it, i purchased my own phone to continue my photography”.
As his talent and reputation grew, Younis received numerous offers from Bollywood and other major players in the industry. However, he has remained true to his roots and continues to work tirelessly to create stunning and meaningful images that tell a story and capture the essence of his subjects.
