Anantnag, May 29: Senior leader and NC Vice District President Anantnag Imran Shah has lauded the relentless efforts of Pahalgam MLA Altaf Ahmad Kaloo in reviving the tourism sector in the region. Shah commended Kaloo for leading from the front during recent crises and for remaining actively engaged since April 22 to restore normalcy and rebuild public confidence.
“MLA Kaloo’s dedication on the ground has been exemplary. Despite facing personal health setbacks, he has continued to fulfill his responsibilities with unwavering commitment,” Shah said.
At Kaloo’s initiative, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of the National Conference, and other senior party figures visited Pahalgam and parts of South Kashmir to reassure the public and support the revival of tourism in the area.
Kaloo has actively engaged with all tourism stakeholders, especially local residents, to ensure their concerns are addressed and to build confidence for a sustainable revival of the sector.
“His inclusive approach and tireless efforts are setting new benchmarks in public service. I wish Altaf Kaloo a speedy recovery from his recent accident and hope he continues to serve the people of Pahalgam with the same dedication,” Shah added.
