Kulgam, April 13: Day after The Kashmir Upfront carried a news report regarding a macadamised road which was damaged by Jal Shakti department at Mondhole village of Devsar belt in south Kashmiri’s Kulgam district to lay pipeline, and then left as a mess, the officials at Jal Shakti department said it was repaired on Saturday.
A senior official told that they have digged up the road in order to lay pipeline in the area, which is an important project for the welfare of the people, adding that the damaged road was however repaired today, he said.
“Work on the damaged road was started today morning. Now it has been partially repaired”, he said.
