November 30 : District Police Kulgam under supervision of SSP Kulgam conducted a mock drill on law and order at Kulgam, in which about 200 Police personnel of different Police QRTs deployed in all police establishments participated.
The drill was conducted to deal with any law and order situation with minimum use of force. The mock drill was based on a specific plan involving “deployment of law and order component & other riot control equipments to the place of incident”, with the primary objective to provide practical training to the entire team, ensuring they are well prepared to handle real time operations in the event of any unforeseen incidents with the ultimate objective to secure the lives and property of the people in such situations.
The whole exercise was meticulously supervised by SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS. Besides, all Supervisory Officers of District Kulgam were also part of the mock drill so conducted.
The exercise concluded successfully demonstrating the readiness and coordination of Kulgam Police.
