Kulgam, July 13: Kulgam police on Saturday distributed helmets among the bikers to develop the sense of awareness among bikers in the district. This was done under its Civic Action Programme (CAP), an official said.
He said that as a part of Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police, SSP Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal Along with Additional SP NH Rajinder, DySP Rajesh, distributed the helmets among the biker’s at Alstop Mirbazar.
SHO Qaimoh Kushab Michael, incharge PP Mirbazar, Toser Khan and others officers also remained present on the occasion.
Bikers among whom helmets were distributed also pledged that they will spread the awareness of the use of helmets and even will follow traffic rules themselves
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Kulgam appealed the Bikers in particular and the public in general to obey the traffic rules in letter and spirit and make it a part of their routine life.
