Kulgam, Feb 25: Power supply at Banghall village of Devsar tehsil affected after a chinar branch fell on 33 KV High Tension (HT) power transmission line in the area causing damage to power infrastructure.
Locals residents told that Besides power transmission line, electric poles also suffered damage in the incident.
They said that they are moving from pillar to post since past many years requesting authorities to remove the Chinar tree.
“It’s a big threat to many houses and also those who walk on the road”, they said.
Meanwhile, locals urged Deputy Commisioner (DC) Kulgam and other concerned authorities to look into the matter at earliest prevent further loss.
