Qazigund, Nov 21: In a concerted effort to curb traffic violations, the Traffic Police Kulgam under the leadership of DySP Traffic Mohd Aslam, conducted a special drive in Qazigund belt on Thursday.
The drive, which aimed to address issues such as overloading, overspeeding, reckless driving, and other visible offenses, involved officials including DTI Qazigund Lalit Sharma.
DySP traffic told that massive drive targeted violators engaged in overloading and various offenses in the Qazigund area.
The primary focus of the drive was on combating overloading of passengers, with zero tolerance for such violations. The commitment to enforcing traffic rules was evident in these extensive drives, which are being carried out across the Kulgam district.
DysP Aslam urges general public and parents, not to allow their children to operate two-wheelers and four-wheelers without a valid driver’s license.
