Srinagar, Aug 12: A youth from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district has won people’s hearts through his paintings and portraits depicting social messages.
Known for creative abstract painting and portraits, he has been giving shape to plastic things and has won several awards for his artwork.
Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mudasir Rehman Dar, 28, a resident of Kulpora village of Kulgam said he was naturally attracted towards the art since childhood.
“I used to make paintings with different messages. I usually tried to focus on social evils through my artwork like drug addiction, child labour and other social injustices,” he said, adding this artwork gives him peace of mind.
Mudasir has even painted the world’s smallest painting of the holy Kaa’bah on a ring stone and a leaf.
Nowadays, he is making sculpture art of plastic by giving them different shapes besides leaf portrait art, stick portrait and other things.
He is also a passionate educator, dedicated to helping interested youth learn different art forms. His content is perfect for viewers as he makes sure to explain everything in a way that is easy to understand.
