Kulgam: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kulgam, Mohd Yousuf Tarigami, today visited District Hospital Kulgam to assess the healthcare services being provided to patients. During his visit, he interacted with several patients and their attendants to understand their concerns and gather feedback regarding the treatment and facilities available at the hospital.
He was accompanied by DDC Chairperson Mohd Azfal Parray, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shaukat Hussain Parray, and Medical Superintendent Dr. A.G. Rania.
Speaking to the media after the visit, MLA Tarigami pointed out that while the hospital staff is making commendable efforts, there is a shortage of manpower that needs immediate attention. He emphasized the need for addressing infrastructural gaps and fulfilling the staff requirements to ensure efficient and timely healthcare services.
“I appreciate the dedication and tireless efforts of the medical staff here. Despite limited resources, they are doing a tremendous job in serving the people of Kulgam,” Tarigami said.
The visit underscored the importance of strengthening the district’s health infrastructure and boosting support for frontline health workers.
