Kulgam, Oct 10: Anayat Ali Choudhary (IPS) officially took over as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam on Friday.
Upon his arrival at the SSP office, Choudhary was welcomed by outgoing SSP Sahil Sarangal (IPS) along with other senior officers. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented, followed by a formal handover ceremony in which Sarangal transferred the charge to his successor.
Shortly after assuming office, Choudhary chaired an introductory meeting with the district police officers.
During the interaction, he underlined the importance of maintaining professionalism, dedication, and proactive policing. He urged officers to remain committed to public service and to address community issues with sincerity and efficiency.
