Anantnag:: Jan,16: National Conference (NC) leader, Imran Amin Shah, has expressed grave concern over the repeated breakdowns of the 250 KV electric transformer in Sansuma village of Anantnag.
Shah, who visited the area today and interacted with the local population, said that said transformer was installed decades ago and has never been upgraded.
The frequent breakdown of the transformer has become a persistent source of inconvenience for the residents who are facing electricity outages, he said.
Imran Shah urged the district administration to take immediate steps for alleviating the suffering of the people. He urged KPDCL authorities to install repair the damaged transformer on priority and accesses the situation for creating for sub-stations of LT Network in the village.
Imran Shah said that the Omar Abdullah government was committed to provide basic amenities to the people in this harsh winter.
