NC Senior Leader Imran Shah Demands Adequate Arrangements for Shab-e-Mehraj (SAW), Raises Concern Over Sarnal Bala Road

Anantnag, Jan 15, National Conference Senior Leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, on Thursday demanded adequate facilities and proper arrangements for the upcoming auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Mehraj (SAW).

Imran Shah urged the government and district administration to ensure hassle-free transport arrangements, adequate ration supplies and an uninterrupted power supply so that people can observe the religious occasion without any inconvenience.

During his visit to the Sarnal area of Anantnag town, Imran Amin Shah expressed serious concern over the non-macadamization of the Sarnal Bala road. He said it was unfortunate that a road constructed through the collective efforts of local residents continues to be ignored.

He alleged that those who have looted and exploited the resources of the Anantnag Municipal Council have failed to address the genuine issues faced by the public when they were in Power and ruling Anantnag.

Highlighting the difficulties faced by residents, Shah said the muddy condition of the road causes severe inconvenience, especially during rainy weather.

Imran Shah appealed to the concerned authorities to take immediate notice of the issue, macadamize the road at the earliest, and ensure that residents do not continue to suffer due to official neglect.
