70 amps of load got reduced, power supply to the area got improved & distruss cuts turned off automatically; There will be no unscheduled power outages if customers use electricity judiciously: AEE PDD

Kulgam, Jan 23: Earlier in a day a news published regarding unscheduled power cuts at village Kilam, The Kashmir power development corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Tuesday evening conducted a inspection drive at Kilam area of Devsar to check the power theft and seized unauthorised heavy electrical appliances.
“In view of frequent power cuts at village Kilam, an inspection team was constituted by KPDCL Sub division Qazigund under the supervision of AEE to stop electricity theft and ensure proper supply and electricity in Kilam area of Devsar,” said an official.
“The team conducted the inspection and seized unauthorised heavy electrical appliance on spot”, he added.
Meanwhile, AEE KPDCL Division Qazigund said that “due to surprise inspection in said village village that leads 70 amps of load got reduced, power supply to the area got improved & distruss cuts turned off automatically”, he said.
“There will be no unscheduled power outages if customers use electricity judiciously,” he said.
