Qazigund (Kulgam) Dec 28: Following heavy snowfall in valley parts mainly from Kulgam led to the snapping of power supply to maximum areas of Qazigund belt, officials at Power development department (PDD) said that around 65 percent of the electricity in Qazigund belt has been restored.
Incharge Assistant Executive Engineer PDD Sub-division Qazigund, Aijaz Ahmad Rather told that “Our men are at job for restoration of electricity, around 65 per cent electricity has been restored, adding out of 26 feeders, 17 feeders had been already restored in the belt” he said.
“Hopefully by tomorrow morning 100 per cent electricity will be restored in entire sub -divisision”, he added
