Qaimoh (Kulgam) Aug 18: In the stillness of the night, when the world was bathed in the soft glow of stars, a small, lone figure wandered onto the Khudwani Bypass, NH44. But fate had other plans. SHO Qaimoh, Kushab Michael, on patrolling duty, spotted the three-year-old girl at 3:00 am on August 17 and sprang into action.

With gentle hands and a kind heart, SHO Kushab Michael rescued the child and handed her over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Kulgam, ensuring her safety and well-being. This remarkable act of compassion is a testament to the dedication and humanity of our police force.

If you have any information about the girl’s identity or can help facilitate a reunion with her family, please contact CWC Kulgam at:

A Story of Hope

This incident highlights the importance of community policing and the positive impact that law enforcement officers can have on people’s lives. As we celebrate SHO Kushab Michael’s heroic actions, we are reminded of the power of kindness and compassion in making our world a better place.
