Srinagar, 26 Sep : In a strong and unequivocal statement, Vivek Bali Senior Political Leader, has demanded the immediate restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a press today in Srinagar, Bali expressed the urgent need for statehood, emphasizing that it is the right of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to have their voices heard and their dignity restored.
“Restoring statehood is not just a political necessity; it is a fundamental right of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” said Vivek Bali. “The prolonged delay in restoring statehood has not only affected governance but has also left the people feeling alienated and ignored. We demand that the central government fulfill its promise to the people of J&K without further delay.”
Bali highlighted that the restoration of statehood is crucial for the socio-economic development of the region and the empowerment of local governance. He pointed out that the absence of a fully empowered state government has hampered progress in key areas such as infrastructure, employment, and public welfare.
