Qaimoh, (Kulgam), Nov 14: World Diabetes Day was organised by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Qaimoh, Gowhar Ali and CHO Mohd Yousuf at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Qaimoh under the aegis of directorate of heath services Kashmir and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kulgam.
Many people attended the event as well as witnessed healthy crowd and wellness centres of the block.
BMO Gowhar Ali said that “the primary goal of World Diabetes Day is to raise awareness about diabetes, its prevention, management, and the global impact of the disease.
The day also serves as a platform to advocate for the importance of early detection, diagnosis, and access to appropriate treatment and care for individuals with diabetes.
World Diabetes day is also a day to advocate for the rights of people with diabetes and to call for action to address the global diabetes epidemic.
