Kulgam, March 20:At least nine tourists were injured after the vehicles they were travelling in met with an accident at Nepora area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said on Thursday.
An official told that an accident took place between at Nepora along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
He said nine tourists sustained injuries while police rushed to the spot immediately after the accident took place.
The injured tourists identified as Vikram Kumar (39 years), son of Deva Ram, resident of Rajasthan, Avala Krishna Chaitanya (28 years), son of Avala Bala Nagendra Krishna Murthy, resident of Andhra Pradesh. Aftab (46 years), son of Mohd Vaseen Saray, resident of Uttar Pradesh, Shanbo (38 years), son of Vakano, resident of Mumbai. Khota (38 years), son of Maiy Ram, resident of Rajasthan. Ramlal (40 years), son of Shamlal, resident of Mumbai. Vabak Kumar (39 years), son of Vinod Kumar, resident of Mumbai. Anil Kumar (34 years), son of Ray Kumar, resident of Kalwa, Mumbai. Rahul (35 years), son of Rashpal, resident of Rajasthan.
