Kulgam, Dec 4: Following a viral video showing juvenile boys performing stunt biking and eve-teasing, Kulgam Police acted decisively to curb the dangerous trend.
A senior police officer told that Police Station Qaimoh identified the youths, seized their motorcycles, and counseled them alongside their families. The parents were booked and legally bound for permitting minors to ride illegally, endangering not only their children but the public at large.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam Anayat Ali Chowdhary said, “Parents must take responsibility. No minor should be handed a motorcycle or any vehicle. Allowing such behavior endangers lives and will not be tolerated. Kulgam Police will take strict action against violators, and we call on the community to support discipline, safety, and respect in public spaces.”
The police reiterated their commitment to cracking down on stunt biking, eve-teasing, rash driving, and any actions that threaten public safety and dignity, especially for women and students.
