Kulgam, Jan 1: In a push against the drug menace, Kulgam Police on Wednesday said they has arrested 155 drug peddlers and 123 FIR’s were registered in year 2024.
As per the data issued here, it reveal that in a year marked by intensified anti-drug operations, substantial quantities of narcotics worth fifty lakhs approx were seized and seized 15 structures property markey value worth Rs 15 crore in connection with these cases.
According to data shared by the police, 24 warrants were also executed under PIT NDPS.
“The battle will continue and the key to success lies in maintaining a collaborative, innovative and comprehensive approach from all stake holders for creating a drug free and prosperous society, “ the police said.
