(Kund), Kulgam, Sep 13: Senior Congress leader and Member of parliament, Imran Pratapgarhi on Friday addressed mega public rally at Nowbugh area of Kund in south kashmiri’s Kulgam district.
The programmes were organised by Congress party candidate for Devsar assembly seat, Amanullah Mantoo, on this occasion, Alka lamba all india Mahila congress President, Akash Bharat State President Youth Congress and others senior leaders were present on the occasion.
In his address, Pratapgarhi said, if INDI alliance government comes to power, they would restore the statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
He claimed that success of the Bharat Jodh Yatra which ends in UT of J&K is an indication that the People of J&K are vigilant about the polarization perpetrated by the BJP.
“We have already announced five guarantees for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, including five lakh interest-free loans for women entrepreneurs and Rs 25 lakh health insurance per family, if the Congress-NC alliance is voted to power in the Union territory” he said.
“Congress-NC alliance will provide 1 lakh jobs to the youth of J&K and pass the J&K Youth Employment Generation Act within three months of forming the Government”, he said.
He also said the Congress-NC government will give Rs 3,000 monthly to the women heads of families besides promising to restore the provision to give 11 kg grains per person through the public distribution system.
