Qazigund (Kulgam), Sep 20: In a powerful initiative to combat drug abuse, Kulgam Police organized a Civic Action Programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on Saturday.
An official told that the programme was organised by SHO P/S Qazigund under the supervision of ASP Highway and SDPO Qazigund following the directions from SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal.
The event brought together students, teachers, and civil society members to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse.
The SHO Police Station Qazigund Syed Nazir Indrabi addressed the gathering and sensitized the participants about the ill effects of drug abuse and its overall negative impact on the social fabric. He urged the students to stay away from drugs and engage themselves in positive and constructive activities.
PSI Mohd Imran also delivered impactful speech, highlighting the adverse effects of drug abuse on health, career, and future.
Participant engaged in a dynamic interactive session, pledging to collaborate with the police to eradicate drug abuse from society.
The event concluded with a collective resolve to work together towards a brighter, drug-free future.
