Fans are eagerly anticipating the IPL 2023 auction, even though the next major Twenty20 competition is the T20 World Cup in Australia from October 16–November 13, 2022.
The IPL 2023 auction preparations are already under way, and the franchises have started strategizing how to acquire the greatest players for the lowest rates.
Meanwhile, Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) has called up Bilal Rashid Bhat from the Gabra Karnah area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara District for trials, reported Kashmir-based newspaper Kashmir Despatch.
Rashid is a star cricketer who hails from Karnah, a border town in northern Kashmir.
The villagers of Gabrah Karnah have experienced a surge of happiness following the announcement.
According to KD, Locals said that young people in Kashmir are now choosing sports careers as a constructive alternative.
“Our youth are now achieving milestones at both local, national level and international levels, making the nation proud. Rashid has made us proud,” KD quoted resident of Karnah as saying.
Hopefully Rashid too will join the league of great cricketers of Jammu and Kashmir like Parvez Rasool, Umran Malik, Manzoor Pandov etc.
