Qazigund, July 1: Residents of Mandhole area of South Kashmiri’s Kulgam district are up in arm’s as local dispensary Medical staff allegedly remain absent from duty for most of days.
According to the residents hardly any medico comes to see patients in this dispensary. At the time of emergencies people have to go beyond this area and take patients to a nearby hospital which is located at a distance of 5 to 6 Kms.
Threatening to stage intense protests, the locals said that the LG administration and district administration must redress their grievances. In case the administration failed to redress their grievances they will take streets against the administration.
When contacted Block Medical Officer (BMO) Qazigund Dr. Nighat told that she would look into the matter, those found guilty will face strict action.
