Kulgam, 13-Apr : Poppy crops spread over 40 kanals of land in south Kashmir was destroyed by the Revenue, and Excise officials of District Administration on Thursday.
The team comprising Naib Tehsildar Shabir Ahmad, and Excise inspector Nasir Ahmad along with other staff members Excise and Revenue destroyed illicit poppy crop spread over 40 kanals of land in Bugam and Ramgard villages of South Kashmir’s kulgam district.
NT Naib Tehsildar Balsoo and Tehsildar incharge Kulgam Shabir Ahmad told told that they had sophisticated grass cutter machines in place for the said drive. He said this drive will continue in future also.
